Conroe ISD provides limited funding for UIL Contest Entry Fees, Extracurricular Concert Accompanists, Clinician Fees, Sheet Music and Letter Jacket Awards. CISD also provides a modest Travel Line that covers limited Transportation Costs.

The Choir Commitment Fee has been created in order to consolidate the cost of required purchases for each student and for expenditures made on behalf of the Choral Department as a whole. This fee makes up for many of the funds that are not provided by CISD.

Early Bird Discount Price of $75 is available thru September 25, 2026.

The Choir Commitment Fee for the 2026–2027 School Year is $100 and guarantees participation in all required events for your student. Payments made on or before September 25, 2026, will be eligible for a $25 discount, reducing the fee to $75. Payments made after this date, or through the payment plan, will remain at the standard $100 rate.

A payment plan is also available in four installments of $25 each. Please note that no early‑bird discount applies when using the payment plan.

By honoring this commitment, the following items are included:
● Rental/Maintenance of CISD Issued Formal Uniforms
● Choir Supplies (Choir Binder, etc.)
● Sheet Music & Tracks
● TMEA All-State Audition Entry Fees
● Non-UIL Contest/Festival Entry Fees
● Transportation to certain Events & Performances
● Fees for some Social Activities
● SENIOR Student Choir Banquet Ticket (with paid Choir Commitment Fee/Dues)
● Parental Voting Privileges in the Cavalier Choir Booster Club
● Resources and Subscriptions that benefit Student Education

The following items are NOT included:
● Mandatory Informal Choir Polo – must purchase by September 19th, 2026
● UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest Entry Fees
● Tickets for Charged Events
● Spring Trip
● Private Voice Lessons
● Additional expenses associated with Specialty Choirs
● Fees for some Social Activities
● Choir Banquet Ticket (Underclassman Only)
