Choir Dues
Conroe ISD provides limited funding for UIL Contest Entry Fees, Curricular Concert Accompanists, some Clinician Fees, some Sheet Music and Letter Jacket Awards. CISD also provides a modest Travel Line that covers limited Transportation Costs.
Choir Dues have been created in order to consolidate the cost of required purchases of each student and for expenditures made on behalf of the Choral Department as a whole. These Dues cover funds not provided by CISD.
Choir Dues are $100 per Student. Discount Price of $75 is available thru TBA.
By honoring this commitment, the following items are included :
● Rental/Maintenance of CISD Issued Formal Uniforms
● Choir Supplies (Choir Binder, etc.)
● Sheet Music & Tracks
● TMEA All-State Audition Entry Fees
● Non-UIL Contest/Festival Entry Fees
● Transportation to certain Events & Performances
● Fees for some Social Activities
● SENIOR Student Choir Banquet Ticket (with paid Choir Commitment Fee/Dues)
● Parental Voting Privileges in the Cavalier Choir Booster Club
● Resources and Subscriptions that benefit Student Education
The following items are NOT included:
● Mandatory Informal Choir Polo – must purchase by TBA
● UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest Entry Fees
● Tickets for Charged Events
● Spring Trip
● Private Voice Lessons
● Additional expenses associated with Specialty Choirs
● Fees for some Social Activities
● Choir Banquet Ticket (Underclassman Only)
The Choir Commitment Fee for the 2024-2025 School Year is $100 and guarantees participation in all required events for your student. Payments made on or before the Choir Parent Meeting & through TBA, will be discounted by $25, for a total fee of $75. Payments made after that date, or on the Payment Plan, will be billed at the standard $100 Choir Commitment Fee rate. All fees must be paid by TBA.
