Choir Commitment

The Choir Commitment Fee enables families to consolidate the cost of the yearly required purchases of each student and for the expenditures made on behalf of the Choral Department as a whole. These Fees cover funds not provided by CISD. The Choir Commitment Fee is $100 per Student ** (see note below)

By honoring this Commitment to Choir, the following items are included:

  • Rental/Maintenance of CISD Issued Formal Uniforms
  • Choir Supplies (Choir Binder, etc)
  • Supplemental Sheet Music & Amp; Tracks
  • TMEA All-State Audition Entry Fees
  • Non-UIL Contest / Festival Entry Fees
  • Transportation to some Choir Events & Performances
  • Fees for some Social Activities
  • SENIOR Student Choir Banquet Ticket (if Senior paid current Commitment Fee)
  • Resources & Subscriptions that benefit Student Education
  • Snacks & Meals for some events
  • Contributions to Senior Scholarships (Advancing Education beyond HS)
  • The Annual “Fun” Choir Shirt – new this year!
  • Support for Social Events

The following items are NOT included:

  • Mandatory Informal Choir Polo (must purchase by 09/09/2022)
  • UIL Solo and Ensemble Contest Entry Fees
  • Tickets for Charged Events (Military Salute / Days of Gratitude / Pop Show / etc
  • Choir Spring Trip
  • Private Voice Lessons
  • Additional expenses associated with Specialty Choirs
  • Fees for some Social Activities
  • Choir Banquet Ticket (Seniors receive a Complimentary Ticket with their Paid Commitment Fee)

The Choir Commitment Fee for the 2022-23 School Year is $100 and guarantees participation in all required events for my student. Payments made on or before the Choir Parent Meeting on August 25, 2022, will be discounted by $25, for a total fee of $75. Payments made after that date, or on the Payment Plan, will be billed at the standard $100 Choir Commitment Fee rate. All fees must be paid by Nov 15, 2022.

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Service Fees are Additional )
