Summer Voice Lessons

Many of our teachers (we are adding some to our staff) are starting to enroll for summer lessons.  Please make contact with these folks and get started on improving your voice this summer when school is not bringing additional stress to your life:

All of these ladies will transfer summer students to their studios next year, so be the first to enroll!

Remember: Taking 2 semesters of voice lessons is on the road to lettering in choir!



We have our schedule for UIL!  All our choirs will be singing on Friday, April 15, 2011.  We would love to have parents in attendance and will need some help.  If you are available to chaperon all or some of the day, please email enorvelle@conroeisd.net or lgilmore@conroeisd.net .  A meal will be provided for all students.  We will need a few parents to arrange for these meals.  If you could do that, please email one of the teachers.  All choirs will perform at the Centrum (Cypress Creek Christian Community Center), 6823 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379. Students must have passed all their classes for the 3rd nine weeks to participate, and will be responsible for making up all work missed the day of the contest.  The schedule is as follows:

Our dinner for Knox Chamber Choir today, Thursday, Feb. 3, 2011 has been canceled due to weather.  We are looking to reschedule for 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 7, 2011.

CISD schools will be closed Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.

Solo and Ensemble has been CANCELED this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4 & 5.

Solo and Ensemble will most likely be rescheduled for Friday, Feb. 25 and Saturday, Feb. 26.  Please start looking at your schedules to find conflicts and time availability.


Winter Concert

This is a graded event and all students are expected to perform for a grade.

Please make sure you are in FULL uniform (which means you have already gotten your pearls/ bow ties and cummerbunds) BEFORE your call time.  The time listed is the time we Sing.

Audience Members: Please do NOT plan on entering the auditorium any sooner than 6:45.  Doors will open at 6:45 but not any sooner.  Wheelchair accessible seating can be accessed from the side stage door.

Students: Please plan personal needs (bathroom breaks, food, uniforms) according to this schedule.  All students should be in their auditorium starting places at 6:45 (treble choir will be on stage and every other choir seated in the front of the auditorium).
